In front of her. I'm trying to keep it's got a mind of its own. I'm trying to like keep talking about this lovely community, and I'm like, look at this mountains and this and that. And then I look and her hand's still there tickling. And she'd go up and then she'd come back down, tickle, tickle. I wasn't tickle. I was like, in the mountains. Tickle, tickle. And then no, there was no tickle. It was rub rub. So I'm thinking, our clients are wondering why the realtor is tickling themselves. Tickling myself.

Even during the podcast, I got the book. Why is the pillow there? You know, like when it blankets over someone and it's all so we're talking. I'm like, oh God, it's in there again.

Oh my gosh, off campus is so good. I know. A few people have told me that. It's very so our friend watched it and one she acts like she's innocent. I'm not gonna say who she is. She acts like she's innocent, and she is a little innocent in the bedroom. We're trying to spice her up a bit. We went to girls' dinner the other night and it was pretty funny. So we're trying to spice her up a bit. So we're all talking. You're trying to spice her up. You're way more spicy than she is. Yeah. Yeah. So don't you always act like I'm some freak. You are. I know. So we're Betty. Let's ask Betty what goes on at home. Yeah. There's just as much freak things. You just like are closeted about it. No, I'm just Shovy's is not being normal. And they all know about Shovel's. Talk about the thing. Okay. So she there, they kept telling her it's like a soft, you know, like, you know, the word. The show? Yes. Okay. They're like, what? Soft corn. I just said her name. Yeah, soft corn. They're like, you really like that show. There's a lot of it. And she's like, there's not that much. It's not bad. No, it was it was kind of a lot. It's very like sexual college sex, like there's some parts it's like, it's like, oh wow. It's intimate.

No, never. Oh my gosh, sex life is like, well, this I feel like the title gives it away. Yeah, but it's weird. Sex life, the plot's so good. So what happened is she like lost her. We're jumping, but in sex life, if you haven't watched it on Netflix, it is a good storyline. There's a lot of sex and nudity. But the storyline is she's married with kids, wearing a moo moo, like very pretty, but like moo moo, taking care of babies, like toddlers. Yeah. Lost her, like, and she was like having night dreams about her college, like sex life, like with her college boyfriend. And it was more like longing for who she was then. Right. Like her husband, they'd get home. It's very boring. It's very like he didn't look at her that way. Their sex was very like vanilla. Not your kind of vanilla, like real vanilla. Yeah. Like, like yeah. So she has these fantasies about this boyfriend runs into him and like the chemistry's still there. Oh, shoot. And then I think she cheated and stuff. But it was relatable in the sense of the mom losing herself. Yeah. Then she cheated and realized I don't want this life. When I was there, I wanted this life. Right. You know? Yeah. So it was kind of good. Um, anyways, in off campus, it's so good. Like it's like good, like emotionally, like, not like just the stuff. Like the the young girl um was raped prior. Like her first experience was a rape with like a hockey player. And then there's this other hockey player that wants her to tutor him. And she's like a music drama girl, and he's like the jock, and she's like so naturally beautiful, like so beautiful, but like not like the put herself out there beautiful, like the all the girls that they call um puck bunnies because they're obsessed with the hockey players, who is cute. They have a puck bunny bus, and she's like, I'm so not those girls. Yeah. And they become, she likes this other musician, so they have a fake relationship to try to make the musician like because he's like, Let me show you how to. If I am your fake boyfriend, will you tutor me? Yeah because he's gonna be knowledgeable. Got it. And he has to go to pro and all the things, and so it's like really cool their relationship, like they fall in love because of like their genuine friendship. And he's like a guy that can never have a girlfriend, yeah. He sleeps with everyone, yeah, and it's like their their relationship is so pure and cute, but it just ended and it's like the ending. I don't want to tell too much more. But there's a scene where she can't like get to the end because of the rape. So he like teaches her how to feel safe again, and it's like the sexual part isn't great because it's different, but like the message behind it is so true. Like I do think that would be really hard if you're experienced and like she won't have a drink anywhere public. So he like started to put the pieces together.

Because Tisha and I, when we make decisions, we a lot of times make them together.

Where when we went to school, it was like four.

Yeah, same here. And I thought we did good. So you know, because it would have covered my college back then. Yeah, it would have covered my master's, my college and masters. Yeah. And now it's not even gonna cover two years. So, and then both of us have degrees that we don't use. Yeah. My husband has a degree he doesn't use. So we've kind of been like, Do we do, you know, what do we think? So I'm curious what other people think. My mom, it was like the generation of we didn't go to college, so my kids are gonna go to college. Yeah, that was all of our parents. Yes. So not mine, but yeah, other people's.

No, but yeah, I think the I I love I don't love the debt, and I don't think it's that useful now, the degree. I think it's kind of dumb. And I do worry about the brainwashing in college. Yeah. But um I love that it's like a period of time where they don't have to be an adult yet. I agree, but they get a little independence and they get out on their own. And I just love like the starving college student, especially for our kids. I feel like it's very privileged life. Like, thank you. All their needs uh privileged, all their needs are met pretty much. So, like they, oh, I need gas. Okay, here's gas, you know. So it's kind of like when I was in college, I was eating top ramen, I had no money.

No, Jen and I were just talking about that the other day. We would take turns paying for whoever had money that day. Oh, yeah. And then like her grandma had a credit card for JCPenney and we'd go buy clothes to go out there.

So did we, yeah. And even Jen Keller and I, it'd be like, she got paid when we had an apartment and we were in our mid-20s, and it'd be like she got paid, and I'm like, hey, I'm not paid yet. And she's like, okay, I'm gonna cover this bill, and then I'd get money, and she'd be like, I don't have money to go out. And I'm like, oh, here I got paid.

But there's like life skills associated with that time frame that I feel like are so beneficial, like the hustle and the like figure it outness. And I feel like my kids especially don't have that because like they've always had every need provided and met. So I'm like, I kind of want them to have that time. And then, of course, if they play any sports in college, I think college is so fun. Like that opportunity is amazing. But I am torn because I want them to have that time.

Well, even like I remember when I had the flu and the flu is so bad and I was so sick. And normally your parents, I don't know if yours did, I don't think they did, but mine would very much cater to me, take care of me. That means a lot now. No, I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I do like when I'm sick, it's a thing. Yeah. But having to go to the infirmary, that's what it was on campus, like the doctor for campus, and learn how to like go on my own and like figure out insurance and like all that stuff. Like when I would, I know it's shocking. I'd leave the lights on my car because back then it wasn't automatic, and my battery would die all the time. And so I'd have to learn how to jump or get someone to jump me or take or learn to turn the lights off.

Yeah. And I Salat Tyra had to take my car and myself. My dad's not gonna drive up. So I think those things are so key. Even my freshman year, a bunch of every we all went together, and then everybody kind of left. And I had to learn to like stay somewhere I didn't know anyone and like make a life. Like, I think that's such a skill. Yeah. Like my nephew's gone to like three colleges because of football, and he can probably go any state anywhere and know he can make a whole life. Right. Like, I think that's just a skill. Right. And I find that even between Kyle and I, I'm more I can step more because I've had to step so many times, like out of my comfort zone where he's more like protected. Right. Yeah, I agree. I know I'm on the fence. I'm kind of more getting pro college.

In off campus, I was feeling more like it's worth it. Yeah. It's just like they had this night, it was so fun. Like, dumb things are fun. Like it was called Drunken Shakespeare, and they went to like a show, but like you were involved and you took shots every time. I mean, and not like, but do people that didn't have the wild phase when they're older crave it? Because I don't crave it at all. Because I I had so many nights at a bar that I was like, I don't want this anymore. I want like to be settled and have a real relationship. Yeah. So I feel like I went way past the fun part of like, this is not fun. I didn't want to go out anymore before I met Kyle. I had done it all. Like went to like have a soup for spring break, which is crazy. I would never let my kids do that. But I did went to Vegas when it was cool, like for my birthday. I feel like we did a lot. I don't have any desire for that, but I find that people that maybe settle young do have a desire for that.

Like I find most people that didn't maybe do that a lot, they tend to have more of a social marriage. Yeah. And I feel like I have a less social marriage because I had such a social.

There's no shows like that anymore. Like shows like when we were growing up. Yeah. Like a lot of shows were that. Like young love, full house. Yeah, like the trials of normal kids' life. Not like weird. Even Kyle and I, it's like he always wants to watch some action-packed murder mystery. And it's like my adrenaline sometimes, I just want to just not watch that. I know. It's so much.

And then the second season, there's like drugs and they always go too far. Yeah, I'm like, we didn't need all that. It was so good. But I think they run out of like ideas. No, at NAU we ditch it and we watch days. So fun. But like I think you just need like, I don't know. I love that time. It's so fun. Yeah, I do think if you just start working, it's just boring.

But I was talking to uh a friend, her brother's kids is um he was offered to play college, continue playing college sports, and he doesn't want to play anymore.

And he is wanting to, he met a girl, they just got engaged, and he wants to like start his life. Yes, he wants to start his life. And so the parents are so frustrated because they're like, no, like if I had that opportunity, like why would you not?

Well, it's yeah, I think it's kind of great. Like fl from our age, you know, when it was like older, but it's crazy because it's like I want to tell kids like you have your whole life to work and do all that, like have a little time where you don't have all that. You still work, but like it's not the full be adult. Adult can get so boring. And it is boring, but it's it's great in the boring, but you know what I mean?
